A few things from week #1…
1. I need to buy at least 2 dozen eggs per week! Thankfully, B has a guy at work that sells them and brings them to us! SCORE.
2. I need variety. I have been stickin’ with what I know (great English A!). Mostly meat with 2 veggies or spinach salad with chicken. Always eggs and bacon for breakfast. It gets old fast!
3. I have found several recipes online and pinned them on my Paleo Pinterest Board. The only one I have tried is the Paleo friendly tacos. They were yummy. Once I start to branch out a bit and make new things, I will be sure to share.
4. My entire mind set on grocery shopping and cooking is changing. I read labels, a lot. It is hard not to go down the chip aisle. Especially when little hands are begging for “BeeBeeQ”
5. I slice, dice and chop a lot. This weekend after my trip to the farmers market, I am going to wash and chop everything then put it in the fridge. This will save me time.
6. I need to clean out my pantry. I have leftover Christmas candy that keeps staring at me.
7. I pee at least 6 times a day. Too much info? Ok, then I will not share about the other.
8. B is doing well with it! It is great to have a partner in this. Although yesterday was his birthday! Eek, can someone make him a Paleo cupcake?
9. I am craving meat. I find this really funny since I am not a meat person.
10. I have had people ask me about vitamins…I don’t take them, I never have. Not even prenatal. They make me wacko. I am just making sure that I get what I need when I eat.
Anyone else trying Paleo?
